Every Memorial Day, the Lantern Floating ceremony is held at the Ala Moana Beach park. Yesterday, over 40 thousand people witnessed this memorable event. Me and my wife were lucky to be part of it.

Yesterday, me and my wife visited our good friend Susan (owner of Menehune Mac) and Jana. Since I haven't been to their store, I took my camera with me to take pictures of their samples. To my surprise, their store is HUGE. Inside, you will find different samples of chocolates made in Hawaii and different varieties of wedding favors. And check this out, they have there own chocolate factory. Yes, you heard that right. You can actually watch them make chocolates in the morning. Happy Mother's Day to all Mothers out there specially to the greatest, bestest (is this a word?...haha), loving Mom ever....my Mom. For those of you that doesn't know, my Mom was the one that actually encouraged me to become a Professional Photographer. She knew from the beginning photography was my passion and still is. You ever wonder who took JLo's wedding, Christina Aguilera, Jessica Simpson, Sheena (The Warrior Princess) and other well known celebrities? This was the guy who was responsible for all of that.
Ooopppsss......
After taking Joe Buissink's class in WPPI, we all decided to take group pictures. One of my classmate volunteered to take it first. The first try, his flash was turned off. Second try, sorry wrong exposure. Third, fourth try, still didn't get it right. Finally, the fifth time he tried it again, this was Joe's reaction.....lol. You can pretty much tell what happen. By the way, I took this picture with my old Canon S50 point & shoot camera.
